“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.
Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.
“I’ll take the risk.”

"Qui-Gon," Obi-Wan says through gritted teeth, gripping his lightsabre tightly in both hands as he glares down the few pirates still blocking their access to the cockpit. Behind them, he can see the door cracked open ever-so-slightly, one of Anakin’s eyes glinting in the gap, watching the fight cautiously. "I'm going to have a baby."
Qui-Gon shoots him an incredulous look as he comes to stand shoulder to shoulder with Obi-Wan now that they only have blaster fire to contend with, keeping the Ty’Lacin covered behind them. "I don't think this is the most appropriate place for this discussion, darling," he replies, a little terse and a lot winded. “I’m glad you want that with me, but now is rather—"
Obi-Wan shakes his head, swinging his sabre to deflect a blaster bolt that had been rudely fired straight at his head. "You misunderstand, alpha mine," he grunts, dropping a hand from his sabre to his stomach with a flushed wince. His leggings are uncomfortably wet now. "I'm going to have a baby. Right now."
