quite literally one of the best lotr fanfictions everrrrr? what the heckkkkk! just finished chapter 31 and i‘m emotionally dead inside. so, a warning: read the when emotionally stable, because this story will fuck you up in the best way possible. everything is perfect. absolutely perfect. worldbuilding? stunning. characters? perfectly executed. romance? hell yea (THE YEARNING GUYS THE YEARNINGGG) political scheming? yes.
also!! i absolutely adore, adore, adore Meríliel. i feel like i’m learning and living through her in the best way possible. she’s still young (for an elf ifykyk) and has flaws, but she LEARNS and she EVOLVES and that’s just beautiful and a joy to see
and an other HUGE plus point is our homie glorfindel being the greenest flag ever

i‘m literally shaking what the fuck. I feel like this story fundamentally changed something in me. Dalya dalya my shayla… HELP her character is now so deeply engraved in my mind, I can‘t stop thinking about her . Author you did a phenomenal job at portraying her storyline and her evolution! How you seamlessly made her a part of the movies! The feelings! She is the most teenage girl ever and I adore exactly that about her! She is so imperfectly perfect… the way you portrayed her flaws, but also her development was so smooth and her interactions with each character is so complex and well thought out that i cant help but wonder if the writer is a secret bestselling author. AND NETEYAM! UGH YES GIMME MORE! he is also such a deeply complex character and the dynamics between him and dalya are to die for!!!!!
i need a break because even though im only reading, the amount of angst is slowly taking its toll on me 😀
