Kara understands that he is hyperbolizing and she empathizes. She, too, often feels starving. In order to work properly under Sol, her body needs many more calories than the average Human.

The man interrupts Kara by trying to bite her. His teeth—longer than Human standard—scrape harmlessly against her neck. Saliva wets her throat and shirt collar. It is unpleasant and strange.
This would never happen on Krypton.

Totally Human Kara Danvers has lived on Earth for 3 years now, and a post-graduation drive down the California coast is teaching her a lot about her new home. Along the way, Kara finds herself in a little town called Sunnydale—a town that she finds strange even by Earth standards. But Kara is nothing if not adaptable, and she meets new types of Humans (with yellow eyes and long teeth!) and even makes a new friend when she wanders into a Magic Store.

So what happens when we take the usual tropes and mix it up a bit? Instead of OP protagonists, harem plots, power scaling, and the usual murim shenanigans, we have a protagonist who cast magic to solve her problems instead of beating it to submission?
Enter: Jo Chorong, a modern girl from a world where spellcasting is the norm only to find herself reborn in a world run by hotblooded warriors who believe their fists solve everything.
The Jianghu will never be the same after this.

Summary
Frisk has faced danger and death many more times than any child should ever have to, but they aren't out of the woods yet. Being the first human in who-knows-how-long able to use magic has shoved them back in the spotlight. And just when their life was settling down into whatever counts as "normal" for the town of Ebott's Wake, where monsters sell ice cream and the gym teacher thinks anime is real.
It's nothing they haven't had to deal with before at this point, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy, even with Papyrus taking over as Ambassador and the Finest scientific minds in the town working on a way to help Chara.
