Summary
Some kinds of love are more dangerous than others.
Aside from his job as a stripper, Castiel’s life is fairly boring and full of routine, but all of that is about to change. A traumatic and brutal assault threatens everything he's built, but it's the rescue by an intriguing (and terribly attractive) stranger that really winds up turning Castiel's world upside down. Summary

The Greek God of War, known to his friends (if he had any) more simply as Dean, reluctantly leaves behind the man of his dreams after a hot summer fling in Paris of 1820, and he's never stopped wishing things could have been different. Two hundred years later, he's a very different man—teaching Kindergarten and living like a regular mortal instead of building weapons and turning neighboring countries into bloody enemies, but one thing hasn't changed, that's how much he misses Castiel.
Oh well, at least he can eat his feelings—time for a grocery run!

It’s doubtful that today’s Summoner is any sort of threat. Natural enemies aren’t something that Castiel is even aware of having at the current moment, and Hunters are rare in this day and age. The ones who persist and are privy to his existence should equally understand that challenging such a creature wouldn’t be productive (for them). No, Castiel suspects that the being on the other end of this spell wants what most beings want from him—a granted wish.
