Summary

Because of the imaginative curse of the third child in their lineage, Lucille swore to never become her father, hence the beginning of her new identity, Lucy Tara.
She's supposed to be running away from trouble, not running towards it. A trouble that is a six-foot tall blonde woman with an unkown scent that puts Lucy's pureblood abilities to embarrassment.

Summary
As Lucy stepped foot onto the flight deck of the USS Hoa Noho, she felt instant regret begin to bubble to the surface from the depths of her stomach. It hadn’t been her idea to board a helo and fly over 300 nautical miles away from the island of Oahu out to treacherous sea. It had been even less of her idea to do it with a large and potentially damaging storm front quickly heading their way. However, as an NCIS agent, Lucy knew she would eventually be forced to fulfil the first part of her agency’s acronym and find herself joining the Navy, even for a short amount of time.
But, what Lucy didn't expect was to find herself stuck onboard the secret Navy ship for the night, sharing a bunk bed with the one woman she knew she couldn't trust herself to be alone with - DIA Officer Kate Whistler.

Summary
The live feed flashing before Lucy’s eyes was neither ash nor dust. Grainy images couldn’t mask the distinct outlines of rubble. Of ruins. An entire building brought to its knees. Resting its head against the cement sidewalk below in an eternal sleep. The fire within slowly burning out. The roar of its flames grumbling into submission.
In the aftermath of the collapse, the entire DIA building brought down in an attack, Lucy must grapple with the fragility of existence as she waits to hear news about Kate’s survival.
As she desperately tries to hold onto fading hope, Lucy struggles to accept that the life she has led with Kate, away from the prying eyes of her team, may now only be a distant memory. One that no one else will ever know about and one that she will never forget.
