It's Robin. It's actually, for real Robin, touching a hand to the side of his nose. "Jesus shit," he says, sounding...impressed, maybe? "That actually hurt."
He's a little shorter than Percy expected. He's taller than Percy, sure, but that's not saying much. His limps are all gangly and stretched out, though, like he's about to hit the growth spurt that's eluded Percy thus far. Robin pushes up those stupid fucking bangs out of his face as he narrows his eyes Percy's way and Percy swallows. Hard.
"Hey," Robin says, with that winning, crooked grin that's plastered over every single one of Percy's school notebooks. "It's okay. A lot going on, yeah?" Percy makes some awful, high-pitched noise he's never made in his life and will hopefully never make again. "You should be proud, actually, you pack a hell of a punch. Well. Elbow." He extends his hand Percy's way, like this is just a normal day for him, like there isn't anything to be concerned about at all. Not the earthquake, not Conrad, not how monumentally Percy is embarrassing himself right now. "I'm Robin."
"Yeah," Percy says weakly. "Yeah, no shit."

"I wasn't here to beat the shit out of a bunch of assholes," Jason snaps. "I was here to stake them out to get more info about the kind of shit their gang is out here selling. I needed them to be chatting amongst themselves so I could figure out where they're based and then beat the shit out of them."
Steph looks around at the carnage. "Ah."
"Yeah." Jason puts his hands on his hips. "Brown, what the hell are you doing here?"
"Dude," Steph says. "You look like my mom when you do that."
Jason takes his hands off his hips. "Fuck you."

Dolly is the very nice old woman who lives three blocks down from Jason’s third-favorite safe house. It’s not out of the norm for her to ask him to put this or that knick-knack on this or that shelf, but it is out of the norm for him to open the closet door and nearly be swallowed by yarn.
“Oh, dear,” Dolly says. “I forgot that was the yarn closet.”
“A yarn closet,” Jason repeats disbelievingly. He places the knick-knack on top of the shelf. There is an endless rainbow of yarn pooled around his feet. “What do you even do with all this?”
Dolly says, “Hats, scarves. Hot pads if I’m bored. Blankets if there’s a baby. Honestly, you can crochet all kinds of things.”
“Crocheting,” Jason says. And this is where he makes his fatal mistake: “Is that kind of like knitting?”
Five minutes later, Jason finds himself seated on the couch, a bundle of yarn in one hand and some kind of hook in the other.

“Well.” Dick says, in an ominously cheerful tone. Jason doesn’t bother to hide his groan. “I got a little bit shot.” As if he thinks Jason needs a visual demonstration, he pinches his fingers together. “Just a tiny bit.”
Coming from Dick, this could mean anything from I was within a mile of a bullet to there is a gaping hole in my chest. Jason considers this information.
“Dickard John Grayson,” he says, slowly. “Did you get blood on my couch?”
