Summary
Reno achieves an unexpectedly high level of synchronicity with Number 6, but the rapid ascent comes at a high cost. His physical and mental state deteriorates until shit hits the fan and he get momentarily transfered to Squad 1 to recover.
It doesn't help that he discovered secret lab data, that only further disturbed him.Kafka, weakened by numerous transformations becomes his safe haven and cause for worry.
Captain Narumi has been jealous over Reno's admiration for Kafka for a while. It should be convenient for him that he has been placed in his squad now, right?

I would like to apologise to all my old and new readers, but currently, I have once more no motivation to write for this lovable duo. HW! I do not want to fully abandon this fic so I'm going to put it ON HOLD. I apologise once more, and hope this unfinished story can still bring joy to newcomers as well as old readers going forward.
