“Okay, I know how this looks,” Shane tells Ilya, “But I mean, technically, we are still alone. Together.”

Buck didn’t need all of his coworkers to look at him in alarm; he was pretty sure he’d gone deadly pale. His daughter knew four things about him, and one of them was his old tinder profile handle. He felt a little like he was going to die.
“She’s got your eyes,” Eddie commented, unhelpfully.

this is so good and so cute and soooo in character. i genuinely cried at “oral hygiene is very big in our family.” and eddie’s crash out when buck confessed was soooooo good. “dating buck was for other people. lucky people” baby you’re in luck!! and i LOVE fics where buck has to literally spell out “how” he’s in love with eddie, ““That’s bullshit,” Eddie said, feeling irrationally annoyed. “You don’t have to sort yourself out. That’s just—that’s just how we are! Just because Josh doesn’t understand basic friendship—”“Eddie,” Buck said. He put his beer down and planted his hands firmly on the counter behind him, each fist gripping the marble, and he looked Eddie right in the eye when he said, “I want to kiss you.”“What?”“Yeah,” said Buck, like he was really saying, sorry. “I think you’re stupid hot. “Today, is November 14th, 2029. You’ve been gone for five years and apparently now you and everyone else that blipped is back. Get in the car.”
