Summary
The drive to the airport terminal feels eternal, longer than it should be. Every stop the driver makes, gets Irina’s blood pumping faster in fear at possible discovery. She has planned this, but it’s all dependent on not being found out. Irina has done everything to make sure she's not discovered running away from the country with Ilyusha, but that doesn't mean her anxiety isn't screaming at her that soon enough it will all fall apart.
OR: Irina doesn't commit suicide and runs away with Ilya at the first opportunity.

That’s how this whole fucking thing started.
If they’d just flown into Boston in the afternoon, like they usually did, none of this would have happened.

Shane blinked, thrown. “What the - ”
“I already have boyfriend!” Ilya declared, pulling his jacket around himself like a shield. “Are practically engaged!”
Shane just stared. “Ilya. It’s me.”
“Only my boyfriend may unwrap me.” Ilya announced. “Is respect.”
Ilya gets drunk and refuses to be touched by anyone except his boyfriend. Unfortunately for Shane, Ilya does not realize his boyfriend is the one taking him home.
