Summary
When territory wars start to break out across villages, the quaint Park Pack becomes victim of a deadly arson attack. Abandoned with nothing but burned homes and scorched crops, they have no choice but to give up their land and flee the remaining packmates to the neighboring village for refuge.
The Min Pack has a long history with the Park’s– none of which good. Having proposed an arranged marriage years prior of their alpha son to the Park’s omega son, they received a disrespectful no. Now the Park’s come begging for shelter in return for their own aid in the wake of war. The Min’s have a small catch to agree on this exchange: The marriage between Park Jimin and Min Yoongi will be back on.

“W-what… I-I… How…” Jimin tugs at his cravat, loosening it just enough to remain proper, yet it does nothing to ease his internal struggle.
“Oh, you must be parched with thirst. Allow me to fetch you a refreshment,” Yoongi offers, his fingers briefly grazing Jimin’s hand before rushing off.
Certainly, Yoongi ought to know better than to touch Jimin like that in public. He should know better because it should appear as though he had been raised amongst noblemen, and he should undoubtedly know that a touch like that would leave Jimin a bewildered, molten mess.

Except when the killer is not given or goes feral, or an alpha cannot be given due to certain conditions, then the debt transfers. Falls to the nearest bloodline. Falls to the omega.They call it a peace offering. Like they are a gift instead of someone being punished. Like being given to the victim's family will somehow create balance, restore harmony, prevent blood feuds from consuming entire packs.
Except peace offerings don't maintain peace.
They just scream quietly enough that both sides can pretend justice has been served.
Jimin's brother killed a Min, then went feral, and now Jimin is indebted.

Summary

Summary
Jimin had honestly thought knotting was probably something exciting but harmless, just like many other things that he as upper-class omega was not allowed to know about. So the secret rendezvous with a village alpha to try it out was meant to just be innocent fun, an adventure to tell Taehyung about later. He never imagined the experience to be quite this dull, and he definitely never imagined being found out, not only by his mamma and her friends, but by his very arch nemesis: Min Yoongi.
But the biggest surprise by far is when Yoongi steps up as his saviour and suggest something utterly preposterous: that they marry. He, marrying Min Yoongi, as if that isn't the worst idea of the century.
Jimin is sure of one thing: this can only go wrong.
