Summary
So the years passed, and those kids under the awning grew. As they did; wounds left open for so long healed, bonds formed between those who thought they could never be anything other than acquaintances, and that very tired octoling found some rest- what it means to have forgiveness and self-love.
Even as things seemed to come to an end- finally reaching a form of closure, there were still things left unsaid- unseen- unheard.
One can only truly know what they experience.
Alternatively; Stormy Weather has come to an end, and there were things alluded to that weren’t answered. There’s more to know; and to see from another’s eyes. The experiences of those around him, and his own
Or; There are still stories left to tell- a storm passes, but it can’t be sunny forever.

Summary
Link trusted his instincts. Only ten minutes after meeting the heroes, he was inclined to believe their story. He didn’t trust them, of course not! But their story was possible. That was enough to not just warn them, but help them.
Not that he would have left anyone in the presence of such a powerful Ache if he could help it, but it was especially important that these possible heroes knew of the danger in their midst.
The one that called itself the Hero of Twilight.
Or: Twilight uses shadow magic. This leads to some unfortunate assumptions.

Summary
Legend has made peace with a lot of things: old injuries, nightmares, the goddesses' terrible sense of humor, being dragged out of retirement for yet another quest.
He has not, actually, made peace with being the only one in the Chain that nobody touches.
OR
Legend wants a hug so he turns into a rabbit to get one.

“You know,” Warriors said one evening. “I’ve been wondering about that howling thing you, Wild, and Time pulled off.”
Twilight looked up from where he was inspecting his shield. “What do you mean?”
"Could you teach the rest of us?”
… Huh. He had never thought about that before.
“… I guess,” Twilight said slowly. “Wild picked it up pretty quickly, and Time obviously learned it, so… I don’t see why not?”
Or: I have way too many thoughts about wolf-adjacent heroes in the Chain, as well as long-distance communication

“Why are we still here?” one of the travelers complained later that day. “It’s been almost two weeks. Usually we’d be gone by now.”
“We haven’t accomplished our goal here,” the one with the scarf - Warriors - said with a shrug.
Wind sighed, leaning back against a tree. “What is our goal?”
Legend snorted at the question. “It’s obvious, isn’t it? We’re here to find Link.”
The others all paused, processing that, and Link froze from where he was peeking out of the scarf.
“... That… makes sense,” Four said after a moment.
“I suppose that is fairly obvious,” Sky sighed. “But surely we’d have run into him by now?”
Pressing his back against a higher fold of scarf so he wasn’t visible anymore, Link took quick, panicked breaths, keeping as quiet as possible. They were looking for him.
Or: What if Hyrule was the last one to join the Chain, and what if he wasn't in the shape of a Hylian when he did it? And what if there were a lot of tears and some hugs at the very end?
