He doesn't say it urgently, like he's trying to stop her. Ena stood on the edge of the roof atop their apartment building. By her feet, there were one, two, one hundred burnt out cigarettes that covered the ledge in ash. Ena's hair blew in the wind and her breath stunk of smoke. She looked back at her little brother.
"Why are you up here?" She asked him instead.
He didn't break eye contact. He stared and stared at her before picking up one of the only unlit cigarettes by Ena's feet and lit it with the lighter he pulled out of his pocket. He then joined her, and stood on the ledge.
"Go away, Akito."
"You're going to jump, aren't you?"

genuinely so fucking iconic I'm happy the author put this story back up after the assholes in their comments accused them of AI usage. Clearly this was written with passion and anyone who can't see that is exceedingly oblivious or so deep in their own delusions and jealousy.
I loved the little interactive moments in this fic. The pictures were so fun and definitely added to the mood. I quite enjoyed Mike in this and how pathetic he was, it didn't even bother me that it took like 60k words for the smut to happen IRL because the voyeurism bunnylover bit was sooo good.

i LOVE the way the author wrote scaras withdraws and the thing with the painkillers. that part of the fic... it just hit me so hard.
and holy fuck i loved ajax in this. i loved how sweet he was with scara, and i love that, no matter how many times he fucked up, he ALWAYS apologized in a beautiful way that just made you know he MEANT it. and all the sex scenes were,,,,, so good,,,, heheheheeehehehhe
