But now, here he is. About to go on a date with Neil Josten – one of the most mysterious, popular, and drop-dead gorgeous kids in his school.
It’s the best day of Andrew’s life – isn’t it? Because the hardest part is over. Now he gets to enjoy a date with the very boy he’s been crushing on for the past two years. A date that just happens to be the first one he’s had in his entire life.

Something like a love story from the summer of 1978, full of Southern Cuts and Old Style, shitty motel rooms, and questionable decisions. Poor excuse for poetry and late night dancing, a trip to Vegas, and one too many honeymoon suites.
