   Summary

   Former soldier Royce Lycidas is called upon by his old Sergeant now turned Professor of otherworldly studies to aid her in her research on a new species of slime like creatures. Unaware of what exactly his job will entail, Royce agrees out of duty to aid an old friend and mentor and of course a lucrative pay doesn't hurt any.
