Unspeaking, San watches as Wooyoung’s breathing slows, waiting until he calms down and leans back against the couch. Wooyoung took the scrunchie off his wrist, short hair falling across his brow as he did so. He played with the velvety elastic, tugging it between his fingers, stretching it out fully before letting it snap back into a tight, puckered circle. He smiled at his hands.
“That’s not too much to ask, is it, Doctor? I bet you’ve made less money to do a lot more work than that.”
