~2 years before the Dragon Head Conflict~
Dazai Osamu the Demon Prodigy of the Port Mafia was coming back To Yokohama from a mission in a near by town he was covered in gooey blood from head to toe, the stench of iron wafting off of him and into the evening breeze, as sane as Dazai could get he planning to wash of the stench....by throwing himself in a river that was near the perimeter of the city he was about to jump when he heard a small growl he looked at the direction he heard the sound it was in the bushes,
he thought he was hallucinating since he drank too much sleeping pills last night
”hello?” He said then he heard a squeak now he was sure someone was there he stepped away from the riverside and walked towards the sound he swatted the branches of the bushes away to reveal a medium grown tiger growling at him,baring its teeth threatening him,signing if he were to move it would launch at him, he scoffed
“you cant kill me nor can you even put a scratch” he said in a jokingly voice he heard the tiger growl again like it was up to the challenge without a second thought the tiger pounced at him claws ready to scratch him,he dodged
“is that all you could do?”
The tiger got angry its movements had gotten faster claws thrashing at him
“you have a bad temper” he stated,somehow the attacks stopped he looked back at the tiger it was tired from continuously attacking
”Aaawww! Look at you! Your so cute when your not trying to bite” the tiger let out a tired growl, he walked to the tiger and reached out to pet it when its fur and his hands touched a light glow illuminated around the tiger,’it was an ability...fascinating’,He thought,in front of him where the tiger was a meek little girl,her hair as silver as the moonlight a smile creeped up his face ,’Very Fascinating’,He said to himself while petting her hair it was shockingly soft for a girl in rags, he observed the girl she wore dull blue long sleeved shirt and tattered pants,’Are all girls hair soft like this even if they look horrible?’,He snapped back to reality when he heard his phone ring,he answered “hello?”
“Where are you? Its almost 11:00pm.”
“Ahh! I sorta got side tracked and didn’t look at the time”
“Well you better come back ASAP the higher ups are getting cranky”
“Yeah yeah I gotta put some things in my apartment first”
“But you didn’t bring anything when you left?”
“Well I found myself a pet that I like and I want to take care of have a problem with that?”
“...I think your not ready to raise a pet”
“No one asked for your oppinion odasaku..”
He hung up “sigh” “well better start carrying” he lift up the little girl bridal style,’Shes Light... too light....’,

Light shinned through the curtain it was warm but not too warm to be hot she jolted up to look around she wasnt it the bushes anymore she was... In An Apartment...
AN APPARTMENT?!
She looked around it was dark but she made out a few things it was.... a mess, she didn’t remember what happened when she blacked out but she remembered a warm hand patting her head..,’maybe she was taken pity on and got a home? Or is this that so called “kidnapping” she read in books?!’,she started to panic she looked around she saw a door she thought it probably led to the outside,she was gonna run for it but she stepped on something slippery and slipped *thud*,the sound could be heard around the room she was embarrassed and scared she probably woke up the person who brought her here and like on cue the door opened in a very dark corridor, she could hear foot steps she didn’t move or rather she couldn’t,fear stopped her brain from functioning right,from the dark corridor came a boy a few years older that her,he had fluffy looking chocolate hair and eyes,bandages were wrapped around his neck,arms, and half his face,’Handsome’,she thought before looking deeper into the brunettes eyes it was dark,mysterious and scary it sent a shiver through her spine “what were you doing?” The male asked snapping her out of her trance “I...uhhh...slipped..”
“Need a hand?” He came closer and stretched out his hand
She hesitated for a bit “did you kidnap me?” She took his hand and she got up looking back at the boys eyes it softened a bit
“if I kidnapped you, you would be tide up in a chair in a basement so no one can find you”
“No one would try to find me”
“Ohh? Why’s that?”
“Im an orphan my parents left me when I wasn’t even a month old yet abandoned me in an orphanage to rot”

He sensed hostility in her voice he lets out a chuckle she jerked her head up and tilted it a little “?”
“Your quite entertaining little tigress”
“what...are you talking....about!?” Her cheeks flushed onto a bright pink
Dazai thought the little girl was Cute...now thats a word he never uses...”don’t you remember what happened last night?”
“no...I don’t think so..?..” cheeks still pink
“You turned into a small tigress” better tell her now than beating around the bush
There eyes never left each other he could see shock and disbelief in her face, Dazai raised na eyebrow and titled his head “you think Im lying?”
“N-no....”she breaks their eye contact and faces the ground”m-maybe......”
“Didn’t you know you had an ability to turn into a tiger?”
“I-i had a hunch that I was different from many people but I didn’t expect......this..”
Still looking at the floor “whats an ability?” She whispers
Dazai’s eyes widened “don’t you know what an ability is?”
“N-no...”her cheeks flushed more scarlet now
“Sigh” “guess you need a small briefing cmon sit on the couch with me”he gestures to follow him and they sat together, ’close!’,She thought and moved away A little,The Brunette smiled and started their little briefing...
