In recent news:
- For the first time since September of last year, world-wide CCT protocols regained usability for 4 minutes. The automated transmission that came along with the re-established connection contained heaps of information that have yet to be verified with Professor Glynda Goodwitch of Beacon Academy.

- Investigations of the culprits behind the attack on and subsequent fall of Beacon have revealed that the members of Team CMSN of Haven Academy had played a role in the Fall of Beacon, with one of their members, Emerald Sustrai, being suspected to have an illusionary Semblance.
- Leonardo Lionheart of Haven Academy was found dead in his office roughly two months ago after a White Fang raid on Haven Academy. Investigations into his death are still ongoing on behalf of the authorities of Mistral, with his death having been confirmed to be by a spear-shaped weapon.
- There have been rumours of a massive Grimm invasion of the Kingdom of Atlas, with the recent CCT-wide broadcast fuelling these rumours.

The City of Vale is the capital of the Kingdom of Vale with roughly 800,000 citizens living within the capital. It is the third most populous city on Remnant, behind the cities of Mantle and Mistral. The gross income from the City of Vale in 83 AGW was roughly 51,835,270,000 Lien, putting it as the third most grossing city worldwide behind the cities of Mantle and Atlas.
