Harry became Master of Death after he collected all the Hallows.
With Voldemort dead, Harry didn’t feel like wanting to continue his relationship with Ginny. He didn’t need to work, he had more than enough money, he had unwanted fame, Ron and Hermione both got their lives sorted out without him, and yeah he has Teddy but Teddy’s got Andromeda with him.
He can't die and when he questions what his life purpose is after both the war and Hogwarts, Lady Magic comes to him one night. Lady Magic gives him an oppurtunity to continue living how 'it was meant to be' or to be blessed with the power to hop through dimensions and live in 'different worlds'.
Lady Magic tells him to think about it and fades away with no way for Harry to tell her what his decision was. Come days later and he meets Luna whose eyes turn slightly faded out when they meet him before quickly becoming clear again after several seconds. She smiles at him but says nothing. They have lunch and talk about random things that make no sense to Harry half the time and when they are going to part, Luna looks at him with a strange smile.
“Be careful out there Harry. It was nice knowing you. You’ll probably never be able to come back to this world and even if you do, you’re not ever going to be in this timeline again. Things will be different even if you do come back. As lonely as it sounds, I think you’re going to enjoy this adventure quite well and maybe, just maybe, someone will come along the way and accompany your journey.”
“You knew.” Harry says.
“Yes, Lady Magic spoke to me. The time for your departure is unknown, Harry.” Harry frowns only for Luna to laugh,” Oh Harry, don’t worry about it. Your body and your new soul will continue residing here like nothing had ever changed but you, the one inside you will definitely be traveling.”
“I don’t understand.” Harry says.
“Your spirit is the one moving Harry. When you leave, your soul leave your body behind in this world. For the rest of us, we will not know the difference. Only you would know. Don’t think too much about it Harry. Things are just... meant to be sometimes.”

Basically this is me wanting to write alternate universe fanfics but with only one character. When Harry leaves one dimension, his body and spirit merges with the ‘original’ body so when he leaves, the body is with the original spirit too. In his original universe (i.e. cannon) let’s just pretend there is an imposter in his body but an imposter with fully memories of stuff (this can change sometimes for example, in one dimension he forgets but then remembers again in another dimension). Also when he moves from one dimension to another, he gains all the memories from there too so he won’t stand out. Time travel ‘rules’ don’t apply here so Harry can scream and say he is from another universe and that won’t change a thing either. Also, Harry can move dimension to dimension meaning it transcends time, this means he can move from way back when to the future from one world to another. Since this is fiction, this is very likely going to be historically inaccurate as well. Couples will most probably change every chapter, I don't know yet but some might not even have a couple either.
Warning!!!! There is no plot, meaning there’s probably no end to Harry’s dimension hopping, there is no definite ‘story line’ to the main verse (each dimension has their own story. Think alternate universes and each story doesn’t do anything to the next story) and probably no ending (e.g. no Harry trying to find his way back, no Harry finding out why he is hopping around, nothing) either so don’t think too much about the schematics or logic of things lmao.
Final warning if you’re still reading this: I won’t be writing what chapters goes to what universe because we’re following Harry who is going headfirst into each dimension he goes so yeah hehe. It’s going to be messy with a lot of loop holes but it’s my mess and I hope you like it too :)
Final final warning: while this may say it is completed since each story doesn't technically connect to each other, I would probably upload more chapters along the way :)
