The train’s just busy enough that they have to search a little to find a section that can accommodate all five of them without having to stand. It sends a thrill down Kenma’s spine. He’s pleasantly buzzed from the drinks they’d shared at dinner and the promise of what’s to come. It’s not that he planned this exactly, well not completely. He’s fantasized about it, sure. Told Keiji about it and really that’s the catalyst. The thing that puts this in motion.
