   Summary

   
   Kaoru startles awake, his heart hammering against his ribcage and his chest heaving as he gradually becomes aware of his surroundings. It was just a dream. He is in Kojiro’s bed, with Kojiro sleeping soundly next to him. He’s safe. Everything’s okay.
