When a person dies it is said that their memories flash before their eyes, highlighting the important and cherished moments they had lived through. In Hermione's case death is just a normal occurrence, a means to an end, an eternal silence disturbed by her mind's loud thoughts, a wish that shined bright the moment before she closed her eyes.
