Chapter Text
The bright neon lights shone in Bill’s eyes as he entered a small nightclub in Gravity Falls. It was sort of crowded, meaning Bill had good chances to get some poor sap on the hook tonight. He beelined to the bathroom, staring at himself in the mirror as soon as he got there. The lighting wasn’t optimal, but it was good enough for him to put on his thick eyeliner. It helped his confidence. He rustled his golden hair and adjusted the neckline of his crop top, making it fall gently off of one shoulder. Once he was satisfied, he went back out into the bright lights and loud music with a deep sigh.
Bill hadn’t made the best choices after high school. Most of his peers had applied for jobs or colleges once they graduated, while he had gone straight to traveling. He had enough money, he thought. It went alright for a couple of years. However, once the money ran out, he had a hard time finding a job, let alone adjusting to one. They all demanded he got up early and behave a certain way, and that wasn’t easy for him. He always ended up getting fired or straight up kicked out of the place permanently. His parents cut him off long ago, and he didn’t have any friends to fall back on, and thus his current plan was hatched. Being attractive had its benefits, he figured. Otherwise, this plan would’ve been a disaster.
His life, as of now, was simple. Every night, he found a bar and seduced some guy. He went with them to their place, hooked up, and like that got a place to sleep for the night. He would sometimes, only sometimes, sneak a bit of money out of their wallets, just to have some for the following time. Nothing they’d miss, and he always made sure to make it worth their while.
As he went out into the bar, he looked around, checking for anyone who was even just vaguely attractive. It was always a bonus if he actually found the guys hot. He wasn’t always that lucky, but he did what he had to do. And he loved sex, after all. It was exhilarating, being on top of a stranger and making them scream his name. He, of course, didn’t go by Bill, but by Cipher. He had to make sure people wouldn’t get too close and personal with him. He didn’t want that. He just needed them for their place, so he didn’t have to sleep in the cold. That, luckily, hadn’t happened yet. He was always fortunate enough to find someone willing. But this was his first night in Gravity Falls. He had been in Portland so far but felt like he needed a change of scenery. So, he got on a bus and hoped it’d take him somewhere good. Ending up in Gravity Falls might not be his best bet, given the town’s small size, but it was decent enough. And there were some pretty attractive young men in this bar.
Pretty quickly, Bill’s eyes fell on a tall brunet with a blue and white hat pulled down just enough to hide his gaze. The guy had been alone when Bill arrived, and it didn’t seem like anyone was about to approach him. Bill decided to wait a bit and see if he was with someone. If not, he’d go for the kill. He sat down in the very back of the bar and let his eyes rest on the pretty brunet in the bar across the dancefloor.

Dipper felt so awkward. Sitting alone in a bar on a Saturday night was not exactly his idea of fun. He’d much rather be studying. But alas, Mabel had dragged him here with the promise that they’d have fun, only to ditch him for some pretty girl five minutes in. Dipper had placed himself at the bar, ordered a drink, and had stayed there since. He’d tried to keep his eyes on Mabel to make sure she was safe, but she had slipped out of view. He straightened his back to look over the crowd, eyes scanning the people on the dancefloor. He couldn’t find Mabel there, so he looked at the back wall where a long couch-like bench was placed. Suddenly, his eyes met the most beautiful eyes he’d ever seen, intense and bright, lined with thick lashes. He quickly realized they belonged to a petite blond man about his age, sitting legs crossed on the velvet couch. The blond’s eyes were fixated on him, and he gulped nervously as the stranger’s eyes pierced him. He moved his eyes away as quickly as possible. To his relief, he heard a chipper voice right next to his ear that very moment.
“Hey, Dip! You having fun?” His sister asked, sitting down on the barstool next to him. Dipper scoffed at her.
“You know I’m not. I don’t enjoy the loud music or the neon. I’d rather be-“
“Studying. I know. You complained about it the entire time on the way here. Why can’t you loosen up a little?”
“Because I don’t want to,” Dipper said with a pout. Mabel just laughed and slapped his hat gently, lifting it slightly. Afraid it would fall off, Dipper quickly grabbed it and corrected it. Mabel just rolled her eyes at him and nudged him.
“How about you go talk to that guy over there?” She asked with a smirk and tilted her head in the direction of the pretty blond man Dipper had made eye contact with just before she arrived. Dipper blushed hard and hid even further beneath his hat, crossing his arms over the bar counter, and shook his head.
“No! I can’t just go talk to a stranger! That’d be… so weird. Also, why are you so obsessed with me hooking up?” He yelped, voice low. Mabel laughed and put a hand on his shoulder.
“It’s not the hooking up part, cause ew. I just want you to get out more, put yourself out there! I don’t want you to regret that you spend your early twenties being cooped up in your room.”
“As if running around with a new person every night is any better…” He mumbled. Mabel gave him a smack on the arm.
“Hey! That’s low, even for you,” she giggled, “It’s not every night. I’m just not ready to settle down. And you know I’m careful. I just think you’re… too careful. Loosen up a bit, bro-bro. Give people a chance. Just once.”
“Yeah, well, I don’t want to talk to strangers, that’s for sure.” Dipper slumped. Mabel gave him a naughty look and smiled.
“Well… looks like you might just have to anyway,” Dipper looked up, confused, “That cute guy is on his way over here right now.” Dipper panicked, while Mabel laughed. “Have fun, loveyoubye~” She cheeped, and disappeared into the crowd of dancing youths. Dipper cursed her under his breath. She’d probably waved the guy over or something, he guessed. But sure enough, the beautiful man was making his way through the crowd, eyes fixed on Dipper. Dipper gulped and tugged at his shirt nervously. The guy had such a sultry look in his eyes, it made Dipper sweat a bit. Soon, the guy stood right next to him in the bar with deep golden eyes staring intently into his own dark brown. The scent of oranges and cinnamon hit his nose and Dipper lost all contact with the logical part of his brain.

After a while of waiting and watching the brunet stranger, Bill had noticed the brunet’s female companion waving him over to them, and happily, he had taken the hint. The girl had bolted the second he neared them, leaving the rather nervous-looking young man all alone at the bar. An easy kill, Bill thought. He put on his most sultry look and made his way to the guy. Once there, he leaned against the bar and looked seductively at the young man.
“Hello there. Name’s Cipher. I noticed you staring.” He teased, lowering his gaze, scanning the man’s body.
“I’m, uh, I… I didn’t mean to stare. Sorry.” The brunet fumbled, “I’m Dipper.”
“It’s all good, I’m used to people staring.” Bill flirted, leaning in a little closer to the other.
“I bet…” Dipper muttered under his breath, but Bill heard it loud and clear. It took him by surprise and made a little blush form on his face. Luckily, he thought, the pink neon lights would hide it.
“So…care for a drink?” Bill asked. Dipper just pushed his existing drink over to Bill. It was still full, untouched.
“You can have mine. I…actually don’t drink.”
“Trying to drug me, huh? You must be desperate.” Bill grinned and took a sip of the drink, leaning on the counter with his back to it and elbows placed on the edge.
Dipper straightened his back quickly, confused, and shocked. “No, no of course not! I’d never-“
Bill cut him off with a small laugh. “I’m kidding, calm down.” He took another sip, before continuing, “So… where are you off to tonight?”
“Uh…just home. I live in a small apartment a few blocks down.” Perfect, Bill thought. That’d probably be a good place to crash for the night. And this guy seemed sweet and gullible enough. It should be easy; screw him, grab some cash, bail in the morning. As per routine.
“What about you?” Dipper asked, pulling Bill from his thoughts.
Bill held a small pause, letting the question linger in the air while taking a long sip of the drink.
“Hm… maybe home with you?” He looked at Dipper through his peripheral and the sight was very amusing. The young man looked like he’d spit out his drink, if he had any, close to choking on his own spit. Maybe he was not used to such boldness, Bill wondered. After Dipper had calmed down, he cleared his throat and turned to look at Bill.
“Do you mean, like, a… a hook-“
“Yes, a hook-up. You in?” Bill placed the empty glass down on the bar counter and leaned towards Dipper. Despite Dipper sitting down, Bill had to look up to meet his eyes. Which was perfect when trying to be seductive, Bill thought. Dipper gulped.
“I, uh… yes.” He managed, despite his flustered appearance. “I’ve never… uh, never hooked up with anyone before, though.”
“Eh, that’s fine, as long as you’re not a virgin.” Bill mused with a smirk. Dipper just blushed brightly and shook his head softly. “Great!” Bill grinned and took Dipper’s hand, “Let’s go then!”
“Right now?” Dipper blinked in surprise.
“Sure, why not?” Bill asked.
“I… I guess you’re right. I just need to tell my sister I’m leaving.” Dipper said and softly tried to make Bill let go of his hand.
“The girl you were talking to earlier? Yeah, she left like ten minutes ago.” Bill chuckled.
“Of course she did…” Dipper mumbled, “Let’s just go, then.” Bill grinned and let Dipper lead the way.
