Summary
After Trenzalore, Gallifrey is restored to its former glory and the Doctor is forced to return home. Though the reason is unknown, he has several ideas. First and foremost is punishment. Punishment for what he did. The rules he broke to save the girl he loved.
But however great the might of Gallifrey something far worse is lurking in the darkness, trying to claw its way into the world. Something ancient and powerful. Something with a will to destroy the very fabric of reality and it’s not above using the Doctor’s fear of losing Rose to do it.
