Summary
Despite being a man capable of confidently pushing himself to navigate new aspects of himself even beyond his capabilities, there is one aspect about which Stede still feels insecure: Intimacy born of the purest love. After many accumulated years of repression, loneliness and alienation in a sparkless marriage, Stede Bonnet is finally learning to enjoy the joys of intimacy hand in hand with Ed. However, sometimes old fears resurface at the worst time and he must learn to navigate them, as well as learn the liberation that sharing them with the man he adores brings.
