   Summary

   Midnight suffered a tragic past. Abused by his parents, Midnight runs away at the age of seventeen when things go too far.

   The night it happens, he watches King's son die in front of him. He thinks he and King have a lot in common.

   Until he sees King happy with Purple.

   And he formulates a plan to get revenge. If he can't be happy, no one can.

   When Purple is suddenly kidnapped by Midnight's cohorts, King and the others must fight to make sure he stays alive.

   Midnights got other plans, but King's not about to let them succeed.

   Purple's his son, and he promised to always protect him.

   But will Midnight's plan force him to break that promise?
