    Konan is a lot more clever than Obito anticipates. As his battle with her gets out of control, he is forced to use Izanagi and waste the Sharingan he'd just implanted into his left eye. The goal is to save his own life, but what he doesn't know, is using it in combination with Kamui sends him straight into an alternate dimension.
