Summary
At the age of four, Harry decides anywhere else is better than life with the Dursleys. Running away in the quiet of night, slipping through loopholes in his magical protection, he finds himself the ward of a nomadic curse breaker. For five years, he sees and learns more than he ever could have dreamed of, gaining a true love of independence.
But when Remus Lupin stumbles upon his best friends’ son in very much the wrong country, he drags Harry back to England, threatening his freedom and forcing them both to change their ideas of home and family.
