“What are you drinking?” Ellie asked quietly, leaning on the railing of the deck. Joel had a steaming cup of something in his hands.
“Coffee.” He walked up beside her, leaning on the railing and mirroring her.
Ellie looked at him, confused. “Where’d you get that?”
“Uh, those people that came through last week.” Joel chuckled.
