Katniss inhaled deeply one last time and then squeezed his hand. Snow smiled, making her uncomfortable.
Wrong. This isn't Snow. This is all so wrong.
"Well," said Snow, aloud, still squatting in front of her, "I am Coriolanus Snow, as you have heard. And you are...?"
"Katniss," she replied, automatically.
A brief, very brief flash in his eyes. He was so close that Katniss could see it. Astonishment, and then fear.
"... Does that mean anything to you?" she asked him.
Snow smiled, tugged again; he let go of her hand and rose to his feet.
“No,” he answered her.
Liar.
Katniss was in danger of having a crisis again.
Liar.
Snow had turned to Festus again and opened his mouth to say something to him.
Liar!
She stood up too, pale with anger, her arms shaking slightly.
"Don't," she hissed, "Lie to me! Never!"
