Except, what if Rudo was never conveniently 'rescued' by Enjin?
Enjin leaves a confused and vengeful Rudo with the traffickers, and after a long, painful half-year of torture and starvation, he is led to the conclusion that everyone on the ground- in his hell- are greedy, self-serving bastards that only stand in his way to the journey back to Heaven.
Rudo lives on the side of a road leading to a town he hasn’t bothered to know the name of, eats rotting food and plastics that have even the faintest scent of edibility- and is constantly exhausted from dealing with people who don't know what he's been through and don't care enough to not shoot their weapons.
He might be hurting, reckless, and untrustful- but he’s still alive, along with his many enemies.So he’s not gonna die just yet.
