Neku would never tell the Wicked Twisters, but he is terribly, undeniably stressed. And the only one who can even notice Neku's feelings of stress and pent up frustration, at least on a more personal level, is Beat.
The two are synced with one another, so Beat feels what Neku feels and vice versa, both on an emotional and physical level. So it is only natural that Beat knows when something is going on.
It adds onto the fact that the two have been unable to express their feelings towards each other. They have been separated for years now and with everything that has gone on, there’s been no time for themselves. Which only adds onto Neku’s emotions.
So now, of all the times he could have asked, decides to listen to his emotions and speak up:
Neku is frustrated, having to keep up an image to please the Wicked Twisters. He has to, otherwise, he can't be of help. Beat notices this, and tries to break him out of it, finding a place away from the Twisters.
(Both try to ignore the fact that the strange Noise they fought might have something to do with the sudden release of their feelings).
