Work Text:
January
It was maybe two or three months since you had gotten the acceptance letter to start at Alfea as Professor Harvey’s new student, you were finally making good progress with your investigation, and were certain the man was who you needed to finish your doctorate.
What you weren’t expecting was the two dumb of ass pure of heart best friends the man came with. You had first met Saul the day you sat foot on Alfea, actually the night. After Ben had given you a small tour around and showed you your quarters and everything else, you had gone back to the greenhouse, excited to pick one of the books you were certain you had seen a couple hours prior, and take it back with you, as Ben had instructed. But then, one book turned into two and the book turned into the fact that Dr. Rose Harvey had managed to make a glowing plant that basically behaved as a mirror ball when light was close to it. So that was how you met Saul. The man was walking around the gallery in the school when he noticed the greenhouse shine this way and that. He paused, looked down at his clock and then groaned, he knew for a fact that the Harveys had been in their cottage, he had just dropped Sky there.
You were quite startled when suddenly the lights turned back on, you turned around, expecting to see Ben, when you met a tall, broadening man. Hot damn. “Hel-”
“Detention.” Was the only thing that came out of the man’s mouth. You went to retort, quite amused. “I don’t care if you had a test, I don’t care if you just needed a potion. No Professors Harvey, no students in this part of the greenhouse. Go meet Miss Dowling tomorrow after the first period”. You knew you looked young, but you definitely weren’t that young. Still, he looked tired as fuck, so you let it go.
“Sorry, I’ll go back to my suite.” You held your bag tighter, bounty retrieved, and moved towards your apartment within the faculty area. Who was that man?
—
You figured out the next day. After waking with sunshine in your face, books over your head, your notes book in the foot of the bed and your alarm having definitely never had gone off, you knew you were in for a good first day. The world outside your window was just too lively to be as early as you thought. You dressed quickly, grabbing a granola bar still lost in your suitcase, and rushing outside the door, holding the food with your teeth as you tried to tame your hair into something presentable. You checked your watch, It was 10 am, you had wanted to see Harvey give his first class of the day… at 8 am… well shit. At least now you had time for a real breakfast.
Alfea was quite alive, the first break almost over, still as you managed to surf around the students and reach the cafeteria, you were stopped by the man from the previous night.
“And where do you think you are going?” Morning to you too.
“The dining hall” You deadpanned.
“You have detention” You had wh- ah, right.
“Look, I-” Your words were drowned by a couple students getting in a fight a few meters away. You heard him mutter something under his breath and turned to them. You scurried away, really needing to drink something, preferably tea, to start the day. You were maybe ten metres in when a hand circled your arm. “Excuse you-” Your eyes lit green as you looked up to the man. He looked at you, taking his hand off you.
“Detention, now” He was also herding the two boys from before, who started to whine to him about something.
“I-”
“You’ll tell Miss Dowling your excuses” Fine.
-
The office was quite charming honestly, the book, the trinkets, everything really seemed to fit the vibe of the woman sitting behind the desk. Saul pushed the three of you inside, making you sit on the chairs across from her. The woman you assumed was Miss Dowling looked at him with a serious look, but you were keen to details, and that was mostly an amused face. Her eyes lit grey for a heartbeat before turning to look at you all. When she reached your face, she raised an eyebrow, you just crossed your arms.
“Headmaster Silva” Her voice mellowed, so that was the man’s name “What happened?”
“They were fighting” He pointed to the boys.
“Why?”
“He keeps letting the windows opened and our roommate’s cat almost jumped off”
“Did you understand the point, Mr. Blye?”
“Yes, Miss Dowling”
“And do you understand you shall not fight your mates?”
“Yes, Miss Dowling”
“Then I don’t understand why you should be retained any longer. You are dismissed.” That was actually quite charming of her, you liked her, nothing like most of the teachers you had had, or had worked with in the past. “Now you…” She turned to you and her gaze almost made you lose your breath, but then, you remembered that the man behind you had dragged you here without listening to reasons and had not let you drink your morning tea.
“She was in the greenhouse last night” Something in his voice explained it was something already talked about. A soft “Ah” followed his words as the woman shuffled the papers on the desk.
“Before I ask you the reason, I shall ask you Headmaster Silva, why am I dealing with a Specialist?” She raised an eyebrow at him. He stopped for a second.
“She is not mine” You looked up at him amused, arms still crossed.
“Well, you are not one of my fairies either. So who are you?” The tone grew a little harsher.
“Am I allowed to speak now, Headmaster Silva?” You asked with faux sweetness.
“Come on, child, we don’t have all day” You turned back from him, to Farah and back, making eye contact with the man.
“Don’t call me child” He scoffed. “As I’ve been trying to tell you since last night, I’m Professor Amaryllis-Linaria” The color drained from his face. Farah tried to swallow a chuckle and failed miserably.
“We are so sorry, professor. We weren’t expecting you for another week. And you certainly don’t look old enough. Farah Dowling.” Farah extended her hand and you shook it.
“You certainly don’t look old enough to be in charge of the school either, but looks can be deceiving” You stared her up and down and smirked. Both of you turned to Saul.
“Saul Silva” He shook your hand and avoided your eyes.
“Would say that it's a pleasure but then again… Shall I leave now or you are going to drag me to detention again, Saul ” His eyes widened.
“I’m so sorry”
You gathered your bag and left the room.
As the door closed behind you Saul turned back to his wife.
“Darling…” Farah chuckled, moving around the desk.
“I had absolutely no idea it was her” He looked lowkey panicked.
“Gods’ sake, Saul”
And that’s how you also met Farah Dowling.
—
The next time you saw them was almost a week later, considering you spent most of your time in a secluded corner of the greenhouse, it was amazing it hadn’t been a month.
“Rose?” You called for your former teacher as you heard a small crash from the other room.
“I’m okay, love. Just tripped over a chair, do you want a drink?” You checked your watch… It was 10 pm.
“Sure, I’ll be there in 5”
You finished writing your idea down on paper and closed the folder. Also turning off the torch and watering the last plants. It took you more than five minutes, and by the time you came out of your little hideout the Harveys weren’t the only ones there.
“Ah, hello there” You greeted Farah and Saul, stretching a little after spending 8 hours straight in your workbench. They greeted back, Saul looking like a deer caught in headlights, a detailed Rose wasted no time in pointing out. “Yeah, why so quiet”.
“I already said I was sorry” He muttered to the ground.
“Oh, there is a story here?”
“Headmaster Silva may or may not have given me detention when I came back the other night to look for Henderson’s Arthropomagic” Rose chuckled against Ben's shoulder, blindly passing you a glass of something blue. Ben glared at her quite scoldingly. Mmm, what was she up to? “He also then dragged me to Headmistress Dowling’s office”
“Farah, please.”
“Farah’s office” You shared a smile with the woman, toasting up to her before taking a sip of the blue drink. “And made me sit there and wait for my chosen punishment” You went down with laughter, not taking pity on the man for one second.
“For real, Saul?” Ben rolled his eyes at him, patting his back when noticing he was being mercilessly mocked by three women.
“That didn’t happen to any of you? He seems like the kind of boss to just follow rules and not reasons. I can’t be the-” Busters of laughter erupted within the group.
That day you learnt that apparently the four of them were friends since their 16s, that the man was among the most chaotics of the Alfea Alumni and that you would do anything to hear that laughter again.

March
Maybe two months later, you were assigned on normal greenhouse duty by Ben. He was tired of hearing explosions and you had eyebags that made Rose flinch. So yeah, your doctorate investigation was getting paused for a bit.
It was quite fun, the potions were mostly pre made, and Ben had given you an old book with everything else you may need in case none of the Harveys were around. Also you took quite a liking to the students, most of them were polite enough and tended to joke around while you took care of them.
Most days were spent like that, you would read something about your investigation, but taking it slow; then you would have lunch and go back to the greenhouse or maybe for a walk. Spending the rest of the school day as an assistant infirmary nature fae. It was… different.
You turned another page of the book, your hand at eye level as your green lit eyes flickered from one finger to the other, making a net of roots around your fingers. You sighted with boredom, maybe you could take a walk when Rose came back from her class, it was too quiet today. If you had been in an emergency room, you were certain someone would have slapped your head. Not three seconds later, the greenhouse’s door opened.
“Ben!” It was more annoyed than anything else, so you took your time detangling yourself from your chair. “I don’t care, you need your potion.” Now that was whispered and it picked your interest.
“How can I help you?” You asked, appearing just in front of the newcomers. “Shit, Farah. Are you okay?” You were quick to hold her other arm, aiding Saul in pulling her towards a chair.
“See! Even she is worried.” Scolded the man.
“You are really not helping my case, darling” Muttered Farah towards you, eyes rolling back for a second. Both Saul and you were by her side in an instant, holding her straight. You held her face, checking her eyes, before taking her hand in yours. Her pulse was quite weak.
“Care to tell me what happened?” You pressed your hand against her forehead and she sighed.
“Miss teacher of the year here was teaching the mind fairies how to stop mental attacks when one of the kids backfired”
“I feel like my skull is going to crack open” She closed her eyes, resting against Saul.
“Oh, so it sounds like this already happened” The look Saul gave you exposed it as obvious “What does Ben usually give you?” You hurried to the potion cabinet.
“Something to block the magic field around my head for a bit, a tranquilizer and then really quick something that pumps me back on.”
“She is lying about the last one. She just wants to go back to work” Farah tried slapping his arm but her face contorted in pain. “Shit, love. How many times have I told you to find a different way?” He rubbed her temples, pressing their foreheads together, before leaving a kiss there. He cuddled her to his side as you hurried around to fetch the potions.
“Here, tiny sips” You handed her the vial, guiding her hand towards her lips. Farah attempted to do a toast, but she could barely hold the thing in her hand. You held her head back as gently as possible, taking the vial away when finished.
Farah’s scrunched face was slowly going away when a student barged through the door. “Headmistress Dowling!” Farah jumped up “There is a group of fire fairies fighting and Professor-” Saul had to physically manhandle her for her to stop.
“I’ll go, take care of her, please” He gave you a pointed look, but he looked so worried you didn’t have the heart to mock him.
“Yes, yes, go.” When he rushed past the door you turned to Farah, you had been holding her arm, but the woman looked a little loopy.
“Are you feeling better?” You held her jaw, making her look up at you.
“Not really, I just didn’t want to make him panic anymore with more whining” Your eyes met and yours turned green, trying to heal everything in your way.
“Quite a guy that one is” Farah chuckled at your words and promptly rested her head against your stomach, sighting in relief at the contact. “Do you want another potion?”
“No. Can you just hold me for a while? My brain is going to get fuzzier for a bit” Your arms circled around her shoulder, shielding her from the world for a bit. “And yes, he is. I’m not really certain how I managed to keep him for ten years. With all the headaches I give him” You frowned, ten years? Hadn’t they met at 16, that would be more like almost 20.
“Ten years?”
“Yeah, ten years since our wedding” She adjusted her hold around your waist, sending a shot of warmth over your whole body that was quickly overridden by cold shock.
“You are married?!” It was whispered in a panic.
“Mhh” Now Farah wanted to see your face when you found out about Sky. You broke your trance when her arms tightened a little around you. “Well shit. Why does it always hurt to also get it fixed?” Your hand gently cupped her head, your eyes shining green once again.

April
You slipped when the staff hit against your ankle, feeling like a sack of potatoes suddenly left to gravity. When the world got straight again you found Saul looking down at you.
“I told you to jump!” He rested on the staff, looking as nonchalant as ever.
“And I told you I was tired!” You groaned while moving back to your feet. Only for your leg to buckle when you put pressure on it. “Shit. I swear to the gods, Saul. If you broke my ankle I’m going to strangle you” Your pained muttering had him already by your side.
“Come on, angel. Don’t threaten me with a good time.” You felt your face heat up and you blamed it on him having caught you out of guard. He prodded your ankle lightly and you slapped his shoulder.
“Watch your hands, pretty boy or I’ll tell your wife” You looked at your ankle, it was beginning to look nasty. “Fuck” You let yourself fall back on the ground. “Stop laughing”
“Who would have said the renowned professor was such a whiny baby?” He moved back before adjusting your grip on you.
“I’m not reno– what are you doing?!” He lifted you with ease, adjusting his grip on you before he started walking towards the greenhouse.
“Stop trashing” You heard him grunt before he tightened his grip against his chest. “I swear I’ll drop you”
“Fine.” You crossed your arms over your chest, effectively jabbing the man.
Inside the greenhouse, Rose looked up from the tea she was sharing with Farah, her eyes locking on you as if she sensed a disturbance in the force.
“Quite a pair you got yourself, honey” Farah followed her gaze and found the two of you bickering as Saul carried you. She smiled to herself, warmth blooming in her chest at the sight. Then, she felt Rose’s glance.
“Oh, stop it, Rose.” She slipped her mask back on before turning back to her tea. Rose was smirking so hard she was going to hurt her cheeks.
The silence was broken as you two got inside the greenhouse. Saul dropped you a little more forcefully than intended in one of the benches.
“Saul!” Scolded Rose, having catched the interaction. “Mind the poor girl”
“Yeah, pretty boy. Wasn't it enough to break my ankle?” You mocked him. Farah turned at that, catching her husband’s eye.
“It was an accident” He was quick to defend himself, but both fairies were already walking to your side. “We were training as she wanted and-”
“I didn’t ask for you to break my fucking an-”
“Enough” Chided Rose. She prodded the swollen parts slightly. “Does it hurt?”
“Yeah” You hissed, she moved back, slapping Saul’s head as she went. Farah moved to your side, stepping between the both of you as if sensing more bickering.
“What happened?” Asked the mind fairy, gently holding your hand to soothe your pain.
“Honestly I don’t know, one moment I was standing and the next the asshole you call husband was laughing at me sprawled on the floor”
“I told her to jump”
“Be nice, both of you.” You both shut up. Her eyes turned even grayer and Rose came back. And if you held Farah’s hand a little bit tighter as she fixed you, no one could blame you.

June
You were walking from your suite to the library when you came across a child that could not have been more than 5 years old. That was new, you had met Terra and Sam but this kid, oh…
“Hello there” You called. He turned back to you, relieved at having found an adult. “You got lost?” He nodded, and you crouched next to him, telling him your name.
He offered you his hand with all the seriousness a kid that age could muster. “I’m Sky”
“Do you need help finding your mama?”
“Yes, please” You offered your hand and he took it. You thought about where Farah would be at that time of the day. Probably her office, she didn’t have lessons on Thursdays. You took Sky there, chatting up about the bear he had seen in the forest and how his dad had agreed on giving him a wooden sword for him to train.
“I’m going to be a Specialist” You ruffled his hair.
“I’m sure you’ll be the best one” You reached Farah’s office and went to knock on the door, but Sky stopped you.
“Wait, I’ll hide and then surprise her” You nodded and when he gave you a thumbs up from his hiding spot, you knocked on the door.
In a few seconds, Farah opened the door, your name falling from her lips like honey.
“Hello, darling. Come on in, what’s the matter?” She tried guiding you inside but you stayed at the door.
“I think I found something that belongs to you” She looked back at you with confusion.
“Surprise!” Sky jumped from behind the other door. Farah’s eyes widened but she was quick to pick up Sky when he rushed to her. “Hi mama!”
“Hello baby. What are you doing here?” She checked him over and then looked at you even more confused, but still kinda warry.
“He was standing in one of the hallways and I felt like he was looking for his mother” She brushed golden locks away from his face.
“Were you, sweetheart?” He nodded. “How did you know he was mine?” You just smiled at her, tilting your head to the side as if to say come on.
“I pay more attention than what you give me credit for” Farah’s eyes locked into yours for a second, as if trying to decipher something. “I’ll get going. You have a lovely kid.” You waved goodbye to Sky and turned around, aiming back to the library. Still you heard him whisper.
“She is pretty, right mama?”
“Really pretty, love”
Your heart fluttered but you kept on walking.

July
You were certain that whatever Saul was saying must have been really funny, at least you tought so based on the muttered laugher around you on the bar. Your eyes were droopy by now and yet the only thing you could focus on was the way his lips curled into a smile, head thrown back into wolfish laugher. He felt your gaze and turned to you, smirk in place as he chuckled, busted. You turned away from him, brushing golden brown traces away and hiding your face against Farah’s shoulder. She brushed your hair away from your face. Your eyes locked together and you felt your breath caught, there was fire behind her hazel eyes. She bit her lip and your eyes were drawn down.
“Are you okay, darling?” Soft lips asked, and you just wanted to kiss that stupid smile away from her face.
“Just sleepy, maybe the last drink was one too many” You aimed to bury further against her, arms circling around hers and cuddling her closer. She pressed a kiss against your head.
“Do you want to leave?” It was muttered against your hair and it was all you needed to deny her. When would you be able to be this close to her again? You just shook your head and pressed against her shoulder, letting the world turn into background noise.
By the time you came to, the bar was significantly fuller and you were gently shaken awake by Ben. “Come on, sleepyhead. Time to head back to Alfea” You groaned but took his hand, softly being pulled to the entrance. You met Saul and Farah outside, just a couple steps ahead of you over the corner. You clung to Ben, smiling at something he said as you approached them.
It was like they didn´t see you approach, Saul hands were up Farah’s now untucked shirt, hands flush against her ribs as he whispered something against her lips that made her smile. Farah’s hands were resting on Saul’s neck, which aided her in pulling him closer in the blink of an eye. She kissed him slowly and long before pulling back. “Big words for someone that couldn’t keep his last promise. ” Your breath caught in your throat.
“I’ll bring the car around, take care of her” Ben rolled his eyes and pushed you towards them. You tripped over your feet and landed square against Farah, who catched you in stride and pressed you against her chest.
“Welcome back to the land of the living, angel” Saul brushed your hair away from your face, gently tucking it behind your ears.
“Is good to be back” You muttered with your eyes closed, which made Farah chuckle.
Farah and Saul shared a glance and he took her hand, effectively pulling you towards where Ben appeared with the car. He opened the car door for both of you before jumping in the front seat. And if there was a polaroid picture of both of you sleeping against each other in your night table the next morning it was nobody's business.
–
It was summer, so you were, as per usual on slow evenings, discovering a new bar that wasn’t the one in Blackbridge. This one was a charming place, the music was good and there weren’t any of your friends' students around, so you were a little bit more loose. You were dancing, eyes closed and twirling around, the combination of the light magic and the happy music getting you in a sort of trance. Your eyes found Rose and you pointed at her while singing the lyrics of the song with a smile on your face. Soon enough she joined you, both of you singing on top of your lungs. By the time the song ended you were flushed and smiling brightly at her.
“I’ll go get a drink” You spoke against her ear and she nodded, moving back towards the table and promptly stealing Ben’s beer. She was just getting back to alcohol after Terra had turned almost three, and boy was the woman making up for the lost time. Ben chuckled and kissed her cheek, making Rose smile.
Saul handed her his beer with a raised eyebrow and Rose stuck out her tongue. “No, thank you, I much prefer bothering my husband”. Farah nodded towards her weird looking blue beverage. “Or your wife” she picked Farah’s drink and gave a sip. “Ugh, no, forget it. Why are you drinking dragon’s gin?"
“You have no taste, Rose Harvey” Said Farah, but Rose mocked her back.
“Ha ha, you know who does seem to have good taste?” Farah took a sip of her drink with a faux deadpan.
“Who?”
“Our little flower” Rose pointed towards you on the bar, where a tall man was chatting you up. All three of their heads snapped towards the bar, Ben whistling and whispering against Rose’s ear. “Poor fella” Rose just gave him a wolfish smile. Farah’s muscles tensed and Saul had to drop his hand on her thigh to stop her from jumping from the booth.
“No.” He called and she turned towards him. There was anger in Farah’s eyes, possessiveness even. “We don’t get to-” His words died as he looked over Farah’s shoulder and saw the man circle your waist and pull you closer. Drink abandoned on top of the bar, he moved you towards the dance floor, where his hands dropped to your waist. The rhythm of the music pulled you closer. You closed your eyes, feeling the music once again, and much to your despair, imagining that the hands now holding your body were from someone else. The man was pretty, your type even, but not really who you wanted. He smiled down at you, whispering something in your ear and you nodded. Soon his lips were down on yours and he pressed you even closer, your hands tangled in his hair and pulled him closer. You disappeared from the line of sight of your table, the small gathering of dancers blocking the view. Saul tightened his grip on Farah's tight.
“Well that didn’t go as I thought it would.” Muttered Rose popping a chip past her lips. “Good for her” She eyed her friends and then her husband, giving him a pointed look, he shook his head, maybe that would get them to take their heads out of their asses.
—
The next Monday at school hadn’t been that much fun after that. You didn’t see much of the headteachers in the first hours of the day, head buried in your assigned table in the greenhouse. Your back was sore from both the stupid potion that wasn’t working and the weekend activities, you groaned from the tenth time that hour and Ben glared at you. “Please, just take the damn potion” He had laid a glass on your workbench about an hour ago.
“Stop parenting me”
“It’s not parenting you” He looked at you from over his glasses “I’m taking care of you”.
“So sweet, papa Ben” He rolled his eyes at you and huffed, turning back to his work, he had a class in twenty minutes after all.

September
The sun was setting behind the glasses of the greenhouse as you worked, your head was resting on your hand as you added three petals of wolfsbane to a mix, your eyes lit green.
“He-” The voice was drowned by the explosion. You lowered the shield and turned around, Saul’s widened eyes staring you down, Farah’s lit ones looking quite the same before she dissolved her shield.
“Hey guys!” You jumped from your chair, walking towards them.
“Are you insane?!” You stopped on your tracks. “Are you okay?” Saul was the first to reach you, his hands holding your face and turning you this way and that.
“Yeah? It’s the 30th explosion today, I’m quite surprised you didn’t hear the last 29” Saul let go of your face. “Anyways, I missed you two!” You hugged them both, pulling them closer to your sides. “It’s been almost a month that I didn’t see you”
“Well, who decided to go back to Linphea, angel?”
“You could have called or visited on the weekend, it’s a three hour train, you know? There is this really cool place Sky would have loved.” You played with Farah’s fingers as you moved back, your arm still slung over Saul's shoulders.
Your eyes dropped to Farah’s lips as you moved back against your workbench. “How have you been?”
“We missed you too. And busy, really busy” She gave you a look that betrayed how tired she felt.
“Oh, poor Farah” You cupped her cheek, gently caressing the soft skin, and her breath faltered on her lips. “Huh, and when I went back home I was wondering if I should return to Alfea.” You took a step back, moving once again against the bench. “Just a few months of knowing me and you can’t manage when I leave” You joked, but Saul caught on.
“Wait, what? Why?” Said the man, you turned to look at him.
“Just life, you know…” You shrugged, it was true, there had been a week where you considered what you felt an idiot’s dream. Just the thought of them would make your heart cry out in pain. Farah seemed to feel your inner turmoil, because she took a step closer.
“Did something happen?” Saul's eyes searched for yours, worried. Farah’s lit grey and yours green.
“Come on, honey. You know better than to try that with me” You avoided Farah’s gaze, a grimace in place from sheer self deprecation before you caught yourself. “It’s nothing,” You assured Saul, giving him a fake smile. “Now, if you don’t mind, I need to go on with my investigation” You made it to walk past them to look for a book in Rose’s library. Saul shared a glance with Farah before grabbing your arm.
“You are lying. What happened?” Farah came to your side, brushing hair away from your face. “Did someone–”
“You are making this much bigger than it is” You stopped him, Saul deflated with relief. But Farah still searched for something in your eyes.
“Please, tell us what’s wrong” Your gazes met “Whatever it is we can fix it, you don’t have to-” She tried cupping your face but you moved back.
“You happened.” You took your arm away from Saul’s hold, walking past them and close to the door. Your words effectively keep them in place “My, let’s call it, scientific curiosity played a bad hand on me, and I could only wonder…” You looked at them both, an idiot’s dream indeed. You smiled and made it to turn around and leave but Farah’s whisper stopped you.
“Wonder what?”
“Come on, love. Tell us.” You were screwed anyway, your plan of ignoring them already gone to hell. And maybe explosion number 3 and 16 had struck you a little.
“What would you do-” You walked to Farah, stopping a breath away from her and kissing the edge of her lips, you felt her breathing falter before moving back. You moved towards Saul, “If I ever did this?” Your hand resting on his chest, you pushed to your tiptoes, kissing him in the same way. You then moved back, standing between both of them. They stared at you shocked, Farah’s eyebrows burrowed and you noticed that outside your fantasy you had just kissed her husband. When the silence stretched your brain came back to reality with a record scratch and you panicked, walking back away from them. “Shit, I’m so sorry”
You made it maybe three steps away, when Farah caught your arm. You readied yourself for a slap but instead were pushed against a wall. “You-”
“I’m sorry. I’ll leave. I’ll –” She pressed her lips against yours, successfully shutting you up. Her hands met your waist, circling around you and pressing you flush against her. Her lips were harsh against you, biting and pulling as if she wanted to devour you. You whimpered in the kiss and she pulled back.
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited to do that” Her lips traveled down your neck and your eyes fell closed. Her hands wandered, pushing off your coat and pressing you further against the wall. When you managed to open your eyes, your gaze fell on Saul. He was breathing heavily, his eyes darkened, but quite out of reach. You called his name as Farah bit below your ear, effectively reckoning him with a moan. He was at your side in an instant, your hand buried in his hair as you got him closer. His lips were softer, he was gentle where Farah was rough. He soothed and pecked, while his wife seemed determined to leave her claim on your skin. His hands cupped your cheeks as he pulled you closer.
“We weren’t certain” He left a kiss on your cheek, then your lips, caressing your skin “You seemed interested but then-” You pressed your lips against his throat, his words dying in a groan “- then you left with that man on the bar” Farah tensed at that, bitting a little bit harsher against your exposed shoulder. “And we just gave you space” His hands dropped to your waist, pulling you to his side. But Farah’s were quick to rest against your neck.
“Then you left” She looked into your eyes. “No calls, no letters” Farah pressed a little bit against your neck. Your breath faltered, but when she went to pull back your hand fell over hers, the other one tangling in her hair and pulling her closer, not letting her go away.
“Phones work both ways, honey” You pressed against her hand, eyes dark, before blindly reaching out for Saul. You fisted his shirt, pulling him away from your chest and against Farah. The mind fairy read what you wanted in your eyes, so she curled her arm around her husband’s head and pulled him close, kissing him without decorum and pressing her body against him. Saul's hands fell against her instantly, pressing her further against his body, her hand snaked lower and reached for the seam of his trousers, making him groan against her neck. He bit where he reached before turning Farah around and pushing her against you. The woman smirked as her hand fell next to your head, lips ghosting together as Saul's lips found her neck once again and his hands circled around her breast. You groaned against her lips before kissing her, she whimpered at what you assumed was Saul rutting against her. Her free hand began to unbutton your shirt, you broke apart and your eyes met with Saul’s, he smiled, pulling you closer and kissing you over Farah’s shoulder. It was getting harder to breathe and your brain came into focus, you were in the greenhouse, you were exposed to anyone who decided to venture down for a walk after dinner.
“Stop, please” Farah froze, lips breaking from your skin, Saul basically jumped back. “No, no, sorry” He looked like a deer caught in headlights. You took a couple breaths, trying to put yourself back together. “Not here, I want you, but not here” You offered him your hand and he took it gently, kissing your palm. You closed your eyes, resting back against the wall, your other hand tracing the hickey you had made against Farah’s neck. “Fuck, I wanted to do that for almost half a year”.

You made it to their cottage fast, thank the gods Sky was with the Harveys, because the moment you made it past the door, they were both back on you. Saul pressed you against the door, hands making quick work of the buttons of your shirt. He tossed it away, taking a step back and sharing a quick glance with his wife. Farah’s smile grew and you covered your face, feeling your cheeks burn. Saul looked at her, amused.
“Oh, don’t be shy, love.”
Farah was quick to move forward, easily picking you up and moving you towards the sofa. You tried to get rid of her shirt, only to realise it was a dress. “Fuck, Farah” You tugged once more and she laughed. Letting you down next to the sofa, she took a step to Saul and turned around, brushing her hair over her shoulder. The man gently zipped her down, soft kisses following newly exposed skin. When he reached the bottom he turned her around, practically devouring her lips.
The man was soon pushed against the sofa, sitting down with his legs open, Farah instructed you to sit in the free space, muscular thigh bracketing around you, you could feel the man’s length pressed against you. You squirmed a little, grinding against him for good measure before his hands dropped to your waist. “Behave” It was groaned against your neck, his face buried in your hair. Farah chuckled, helping you out of your boots and trousers.
“What are we doing?” Saul’s hand moved up to cup your breast, pressing you flush against him. Farah smiled sweetly and tossed your trousers to the other side of the sofa, then her hands dropped to the hem of your underwear. “Oh, okay” The smile turned dangerous and the soaked through material was also quickly discarded. She dropped to her knees. “Shit”
“Language, darling” She descended between your legs.
