Chapter Text
"Where's my weapon?" asks Nezha.
"Where's my tower?" asks Li Jing.
"Huh?" Father and son look at each other in surprise; neither of them expects to see the other. Li Shining immediately hides his hand behind his back.
Hey, son... what's the pleasure of visiting this old man?" he asks.
"Wait a minute!" The prince approaches him and examines him from head to toe. "What did you just say?"
"Oh... I'm asking how you found the time to visit me-"
"Not this one. The one before."
Li Jing begins to sweat, looks around, and mutters.
"Uh... Flower... I can't find the flowers I wanted to give your mother!"
"Flower?..."
"Yes, my dear." Do you really think I'm trying to trick you?"
"Ah... Okay, fine." They both laugh. "I must have misheard," Nezha mutters to himself.
"And uh... earlier, you said you were looking for a weapon."
"A gun? No, no. You misheard. I'm looking for gum, gum," Nezha says quickly.
"Oh! Gum." I must have misheard too, he says to himself with relief.
"Hey! Father, why don't you take your hand off your back?" Li Jing freezes.
"Yesterday, while I was sleeping, my arm froze. It hurts, I can't move it," he explains quickly, rubbing his arm.
"And the thing in your hand?" »
"I've got it! I've always got it with me! I'm holding it tight, don't worry."
"Okay then," Nezha says, then turns to leave. Li Jing sighs quietly and is about to move his arm, when his son immediately turns his head towards him.
"W-what's the problem?"
"No... no..." he replies before disappearing.
"Sigh... no, wait, I have to find him quickly. Before he realizes what's going on." He starts searching again.
Where could he be... Nezha searches everywhere for his weapon.
"Hey, Nezha!" Sun Wukong joins him.
"Come on, Erlang is waiting to play together. The only thing missing is you." Nezha isn't really paying attention to what the monkey is saying. His attention is instead focused on what he's juggling with his hand. It's his father's tower.
"Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!" He laughs, drawing his spear and flying away.
"Nezha! Where are you going? You're going in the wrong direction!" Wukong shouts at him.
"Pfft... children," he mutters.
