The Idol Awards was supposed to be the performance where they would finally beat the Huntrix and destroy the honmoon. Both groups walked past each other, tension building in the air as both groups knew that only one can stay on top. The Saja Boys were supposed to perform first, only ten minutes before their performance, they’ll finally have everything. That is until Gwi-Ma told the other members about the plan to lose to Huntrix, for what? Jinu wasn’t saying anything, everything that demons did was to make deals for selfish gains.
“You wanted us to lose against Huntrix? What do we even gain from it?” Abby shouted at Jinu, the other members looking at Jinu like he was a parasite to the group. He was the one who orchestrated everything yet he wanted to take it all down, putting the other boys in jeopardy as well.
“Why lose when we are all so close to what we all wanted? We wanted this while you wanted your memories erased? What’s the point?” Romance interjected, they know Jinu is good with these plans but why lose everything?
Jinu couldn’t answer those questions, it all ties to his and Rumi’s plan for their shared freedom after the Idol Awards. He stayed silent this whole time while the other members argued on what to do next, they all haven’t made it this far to know what happens when a problem like this arises. The arguing got louder and more aggressive as the members fought with each other, their voices carrying out onto the hallways of the backstage to let everyone know they won’t be performing tonight. A manager’s earpiece crackled as they told the other staff members to prepare the Huntrix performance as the Saja Boys were all MIA.
Jinu looked at the chaos and sighed, clearly this Awards show wasn’t going to work. “I have another plan, one that will break the Huntrix up.” Jinu shouted at the other boys, shutting them up once and for all.
“What makes you think that we can trust you now? After Gwi-Ma told what you had planned with that hunter chick?” Baby asked, crossing his arms at Jinu knowing that this could be another plan for him to fail.
“They are going to seal the honmoon with their song “Golden”, I know they have another single yet to be released. “Takedown”, we’ll use that song to get to Rumi, then the other hunters will see her marks and it will be game over for Huntrix. We will put up a show in Namsan Tower, that’s where we will finally get everything.” Jinu explained to the other boys, it was a solid plan. If the other boys agreed then it would put them back on track for what they’re about to receive.
“And if you chicken out? What happens to us then? We aren’t slaves to you, we agreed to do this because of our wishes.” Mystery said, he wasn’t unsure of the plan but at the fact that Jinu would go with it through and through. “I won’t, trust me.” Those words echoed through the room as the boys stood there. Knowing nothing else other than their wishes about to be true, they all nodded before setting the plan in action now.
“Well done. Ready to forget it all?” “Good. I’m ready to feast.” Gwi-Ma bellowed to the boy band as they waited for the moment. Despite everything that awaits them, all cannot help but feel that those girls would stop them. There was a reason why they couldn’t get enough, those hunters. They channeled their emotions into this final performance, being fueled by their selfish desires.
The Saja Boys were watching the Huntrix girls with pure hatred, their plan was failing and without Jinu saying anything, they took matters into their own hands. They couldn’t just let go of this, not now when they are so close. Splitting up into teams of two, they fought Zoey and Mira as Rumi fought with Gwi-Ma. Until the moment where Jinu sacrificed himself for Rumi, watching their leader turn to ashes and Rumi slashing Gwi-Ma, they started fighting desperately to gain control, only for them to crumble. Because of the Huntrix’s power strengthening ten fold because of their fans, the Saja Boys were defeated? Possibly, there was another power in play that not even the Huntrix girls knew. You see, their weapons are powered by their passion and the honmoon itself, cleansing the world of demons. What happens when you cleanse a soul of its demon? Do they return to their original self? Is Gwi-Ma’s voice not heard anymore? They didn’t know themselves either, all they know is that their new honmoon will keep the demons away for a long time.
