This reputation brought good business and good people to the club. But that was an hour ago. Now, the lights are dimmed and the stage is silent. Almost all the patrons are gone, leaving Eddie with just a few friends. They’d planned to stay late for games and maybe a few more dances at Volt’s request. Instead, Eddie was digging through the cabinets behind the bar for any pieces of wood large enough to make a stake from.
