Summary
From the very first stage on Boys Planet 2, Anxin promised Jiahao they’d stick together through thick and thin. It was stupid, maybe, but Jiahao believed him. Then somewhere along the way, that promise broke. Every stage pushed Anxin higher, brighter, and more untouchable. Jiahao kept saying he was proud, but the pride twisted the moment he heard the crowd whisper that Anxin didn’t need anyone beside him.
Anxin felt it too, Jiahao’s jealousy closing in until he couldn’t breathe. When he finally snapped, begging Jiahao to just say something, he only got silence. Their awkward avoidance turned into distance. Every glance away felt like another cut.
By the semifinal episode, when Jiahao’s spot was on the line, Anxin couldn’t keep pretending. That night on the rooftop, with the city wind in their hair, he folded against Jiahao’s shoulder.
“I was supposed to be your pillar too. I broke that, hyung.”
