Summary
Riddle Rosehearts has spent the last school year unwinding the character his mother tried to force him to be and discover who he really is. He's been attending therapy since his overblot, which has been immensely helpful, so he doesn't doubt his counselor when they suggest he try journaling as a means of healthily coping with his emotions. With his new diary and pen in hand, he finds himself growing closer and closer to a functional human being.
Then the headmage announces that Night Raven College will be hosting its first ever Family Day, and Riddle has no power to stop the horrible, life-altering events that take place from unfolding.
