    Right after saving Steve from the Potomac, the Winter Soldier finds himself homeless and lost.
    Dolores is looking for her lost kitten, and when a man saves her from an attack in an alleyway, she takes him under her wing, not realizing she's taking the Winter Soldier home.

    A fluff story about finding purpose, redemption, lots of care, cuddles and learning to trust, on everyone's side.
    Zemo is a minor character and he's treating the Winter Soldier well here.
    We see The Winter Soldier slowly learning to be Bucky and to accept love.
    Steve will only appear in the story at a later point, probably around 20000 words.
