    Technically his soon-to-be-fiancé, but that seems like too much to explain to this stranger.

    Now the man looks bewildered. “Fiancé??”

    “Ah yes, Jiang Wanyin,” Lan Xichen explains.

    The man’s face contorts then, going through an entire sequence of emotion in a short period of time. Lan Xichen notices shock, then confusion, then horrified understanding, before finally ending in anger.

    “WHAT THE FUCK??” he yells.
