This book mainly focuses on the relationship between Michael Myers and the Reader, specifically on the way they bond and how they interact with each other.

DEFINITION OF TERMS ——— DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PROSHIPPING, DARKSHIPPING, AND COMSHIPPING. (slashership and horrorship are self explanatory)
DARKSHIPPING — a term used for ships that are "problematic" or hold a darker tone to them. These ships are usually associated with abusive, incestuous, or extremely harmful pairings/relationships. Proshipping and comshipping are completely different things from darkshipping. Not all darkshippers are bad, and not all darkshippers are good.
PROSHIPPING — basically a term that insinuates the thought that all ships are to be left alone, or one doesn't simply care about who ships who in a certain fandom. This term goes both ways: positive, and negative.
Pos: Don't like, dont interact. Although they acknowledge that they have no care about the context of a ship, one is still likely to avert their interests if they do not agree with that ship. (This is the perfect definition of proshipping, mind you; they simply do not care who or what you ship, but they'll definitely block your content if it goes against their beliefs or morality.)
(This DOES NOT mean I support proshipping. I have my preferences.)
Neg: Supporting proshipping in general and using "coping mechanisms" as an excuse to make ships according to pedophilia, bestiality, whatever. This is the current view that people have of this term.
COMSHIPPING — also known as complicated shipping/relationship. This is often confused with proshipping as it falls under the umbrella of problematic topics such as pedophilia, abuse, bestiality, etc. Though this term is NOT entirely leaning on the problematic side of the fandom community, many people choose to see it as a negative aspect of the shipping fandom. This term also falls under the category of "dark fiction".
Comshipping can also be referred as complex shipping.
