Summary
After moving into Haddonfield for your job as a substitute teacher by the nearby high school, you were oblivious to your surroundings. It wasn't until then you had watched the news on a particularly cloudy day, noting the amount of murder cases rising. The killer was known as Michael. Michael Myers. You hoped he wouldn't reach you, although you were for sure he'd come for you. Figuratively and literally.
Eventually he softens up to you, forcing yourself to let him stay in your property for the sheer exchange of your life on the line — try to escape, and Michael will make sure you know your place.

You didn’t sleep that night, you instead continued unpacking from your exploration from the day. Unloading woods, foods, and some ores you were able to mine, you picked out the raw meat and decided that’s your priority first and placed the food you wanted to cook into your smoker. Lingering on and expecting this thing that you were waiting on to be smarter than to fall victim to your barbed wire trap. You took note that tonight almost nothing spawned around your house…odd. While you continued watching your food cook you heard it. The trap went off, and the sound of a yelp followed.
There ain’t no way.
You take out the food that was cooked and store it in your chest before rushing outside to see, low and behold.
Your poor “boyfriend” in the trap.
