Summary
Jim Kirk is a paper lion. Fragile as origami, folded by trauma and lies, labeled harmless or dangerous depending on who’s holding the file. But paper lions still have teeth. And when someone finally refuses to crumple him up or put him behind glass, he learns that being strong doesn’t mean being alone.
Sometimes family isn’t blood or biology.
Sometimes it’s a doctor who crawls into the vents after you. Or a Captain who understands what the word Father means. Or a Vulcan who learns showing emotion isn’t a short coming.And sometimes, even paper lions get to roar.
