Where instead of bending the knee to SDN to get his suit back after the explosion, Robert Robertson doesn't actually NEED that help to make his return as Mecha Man.
AKA the fic where Robert starts the plot out
A) astronomically wealthier than the canon (think Tony Stark without the blatant Enterprise tied to him. Still has the daddy issues tho)
and B) far less willing to accept the lowest denominator when it comes to choices.Personal note: I cannot WAIT for Flambae to be brought to the hilltop villa because I KNOW he's gonna choke on his tongue and then demand why he got taken to the witness protection apartment first
