Summary
For the first time in his life, Ivan was admiring art.
As his eyes crossed each painting, he looked further, deeper into the tent, until he met the artist at work.
The thin, young man was hunched over a canvas, working out finer details in a painting that had yet to fully come to life. His dark, grey bangs shaded his eyes, which were a deep green-blue that Ivan had never seen. Perhaps the color was only a reflection of the painted grass strands on the canvas before him, dotted with white to imitate dewy droplets. So much care went into this art… so much love.
