Summary
With the Dovahkiin having been slain at Helgen, stopping Alduin and Miraak fell to the dragon Fahdonmul, who opposed Alduin during the dragon war. Having proved himself mightier than Alduin, Fahdonmul has assumed his position and ordered the other dragons to stand down, forming an uneasy truce with the mortals of Skyrim.
However, this has not stopped the occasional adventurer seeking to slay him.
