Shane scrunched up his face. "No, we're in Regina. At the World Junior Championships. Are you messing with me, Rozanov? That's not very nice of you. I'm the one in the hospital. And I assume it's because of you."
"Holy shit," Ilya said under his breath as it finally hit him. Shane didn't remember. Any of it. He didn't remember any words they had ever said to one another. He didn't remember anything they had ever done together. He didn't even remember that first chance encounter outside the rink in Regina. Holy fucking shit. Nine years of Shane's memories were gone.
