Chapter 1: I Hear Screaming In The Gym

Chapter Text

ANASTASIA

Oh gods. How do i do this?

(We don't have a lot of time. We only have a few days before the gods will try and kill us. So listen, go back to the house and find a little wooden box in the basement. The passcode is 3658 and you have to tap on the right two times to open it, now, once it's open, grab the thing and hide it somewhere else. You might have the sudden urge to use it for power, but try to resist it.)

My name is Anastasia LaFery. I live with the parents who adopted me, along with their kid. Harold. I hate the kid. He keeps on stealing my stuff and says "You don't belong here, weirdo!" You're right Hairy Harold! I don't.

Look. I'm a Half-Blood, and Half-bloods don't usually survive when they figure out what they are. And I almost died when I found out I was one.

The story happens at St. Petersburg Highschool at New York. I was 15 years old when this happened.

I was trying to write down notes in class. (Surprising, I know.) But I couldn't focus due to the random letters all squirming and moving around my paper and even on the chalk board. A B C and D were now C D B and A to me now.

I wanted to skip school so badly and sleep back home so I could just rest for once. But guess what! I couldn't.

I was about to sleep at any moment, thinking about my bed, but my dumb teacher, Mr Rean. Called me out on it. "Anastasia LaFery. Are you sleeping?"
"N-No! I wasn't!" The whole class was staring at me when I yelled it out loud. It was embarrassing to say the least. But then I heard yelling from the gym. I was curious on what it was about but I had to stay quiet and try to listen to the boring lesson that Mr. Rean was teaching us.

I couldn't handle the curiosity and I raised my hand. "Sir? Can I go to the bathroom?"
"I don't know. 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘠𝘰𝘶?" He said, dragging the word like how he would always do.
"May I go to the bathroom." I said with a sigh. He then nodded and I got out of the classroom.
And I wish I hadn't. But if I didn't, I wouldn't have met her.
