Summary
In his late teens, just months before hitting technical adulthood, the bald eagle Aoba is still finding out who he is. No matter what, the pieces never truly fit. He never was like the other boys in his school, carnivore or herbivore.
But one night, he begins to understand why. And his identity starts to crack, shed, and inside the egg that hatches is a brand new bird.
