It’s been two weeks since then. And today, Naveen is finally going to try and talk to Urbain, finally reconnect and see what’s really been on his mind.
Well, that is until Naveen is startled into consciousness probably way too early based on the state of the sun through his window. It’s hardly even risen, and yet there’s knocking on his door.
He grumbles unpleasantly as he throws off his blanket, still dressed in just his sleep shorts and socks, padding to the door. “What the hell do you-” but he pauses as the door swings open. Because there’s Urbain, bruised on his left cheek, dirt in his hair, scrap of paper clutched tight in his hand. Tears pouring down his face in rivers.
