Summary
After the end of the Autobot/Decepticon war, Humanity welcomed Cybertronian refugees to Earth as a place of safe refuge and formed a joint government, aimed at peaceful co-existence and prosperity. However, with such a power imbalance between the two species, and with the prejudice of Functionism still alive and well in the New Senate, it was only a matter of time before systematic injustice took hold of the young government.
The Decepticons return to overthrow the New Cybertronian Empire, rejecting their revival of Functionism and oppression of Humanity, whose only crime was trust in Optimus Prime.
